Ava Murray Peters Portraits are Moments in Life.
Ava Peters wholly enjoyed painting portraits captured candidly in life. She found it allowed her to meet a vibrant array of dynamic subjects with the
opportunity to share a moment and create a sense of the vitality and charms of the individual. Ava prefers to paint the person from life than from a photo. Meeting the person in life is important to her work.
"I do not paint a person for realism. Instead, I paint to get a sense of that person and their energy. I try and capture a feeling or emotion from that person either the feeling they really feel, or what I feel while looking at that person."
Please contact Ava Murray Peters for more information about commissioned portraits.

"Tom Phillips"
"I define fame as a person who has touched many lives. It is not media
coverage alone but how that person has used their contacts to improve other
people's lives. Both Paris Black the singer, model and Tom Phillips the artist
have had huge impact on other people lives in their chosen field of work."
Tom Phillips is an artist who works in paint, does wood
carvings and creating art has been his lifelong passion. Over 25 years Tom has
rented a studio, "Artist 25", and covered the cost in order for others to benefit from working
directly from the model. He is a prolific artist, in his own right. He is
generous to rent a space and invite other artists to paint from the model he has
booked. Over this length of time he has allowed many other artists to find a
friendly place to paint.

"Mr. Black"
Paris Black many years ago benefited from a music contract and donated his
funds to aid the homeless. He continues to work as a singer and a supporter of
the visual arts, and works as a life drawing model.
"This portrait I painted of Paris was completed while he was a model at Arist 25 Studio.
Over time I have had the pleasure to talk with Paris about his creative and philanthopy concerns.
He has used his time in the media and his own funds to care for others.``
